  • reintegrates 'help' into 'trunk'
    • tweak arb documentation:
      • automatically link
        • ticket references to arb bug tracker (only affects html version).
        • found URLs.
      • page titles
        • warn about long titles.
        • introduce SUBTITLEs (automatically triggered by multi-line titles in source files).
        • increase allowed length (limited by subwindow width).
      • cleanup header sections in all helpfiles.
      • fix and/or update several help files.
      • document syntax of help sources.
      • build issues:
        • when xml validation fails, next build no longer uses invalid xml ⇒ keeps failing.
        • remove output files on error (including files below ARBHOME/lib).
        • pipe output through logs to ensure proper wrapping in Entering/Leaving lines.
    • moves Tree admin + NDS menu entries to top of menu
  • adds: log:branches/help@18783:19531
  • Property svn:eol-style set to native

16DESCRIPTION     Allows to delete/hide fields.

18                Choose the 'Delete field in list' item from the 'FIELDS' menu to
19                display the 'DELETE FIELD' window. Select a field from the
20                'Fields' subwindow and press the HIDE FIELD>
21                (the field and its entry are no longer displayed in the 'SPECIES/GENE
22                INFORMATION' window) or the <DELETE FIELD> (field
23                and its entry are deleted) button.

25NOTES           A protection level has to be set on the 'ARB_NT' window equal or
26                higher than that assigned to the species entry.

28                An example macro ("keep_listed_fields.amc") is delivered together with ARB,
29                which allows to delete all unwanted fields from a database, by defining
30                a list of all fields to keep.
31                That macro can be found using the file-prompter
32                under LINK{macro.hlp} (see EXAMPLES section there).
