Some error messages from the import dialog do not show a popup

Description (last modified by westram)

  • file → import → import from external format
  • select some file and a format that does not match
  • click GO
  • notice the 
    aw_message: 'Error: Cannot find start of file: Wrong format or empty file
while reading file <some file>'
    error on the command line
  • also notice that this error is not displayed using a popup.

Is this intentional?

Definitely not - works for me in trunk
