Description
This problem is only valid in case ARB databases are merged by the ARB merge tool.
Scenario:
Researcher 1 retrieved a sequence from location A - ARB will assign a name based on the sequence checksum in A.
Researcher II retrieved an identical sequence from location B - which gets the same name in B.
When merging the two DBs the sequence will either be not transferred or overwritten.
This might result in the wrong ecological interpretation that no identical sequences exist in two distinct locations.
Possible solution: the name should not be generated based on the sequence checksum but using a random number generator
