EDIT4 text position is wrong

• when using a font size around 10pt to 14pt the cursors position is approximately ok.
• when using a smaller font (e.g. 6pt) the cursor position is too low (i.e. misplaced towards the screen bottom).
• when using a bigger font (e.g. 26pt) the cursor position is too high (i.e. misplaced towards the screen top).

It seems that not the cursor-position is wrong, but the text position.

Look at the attached screenshot:

• the text should display exactly inside the bright yellow areas, but it is printed too low (towards screen bottom) for the shown 20pt font

For 6pt font the effect reverts, i.e. text is printed too high (towards screen top).

Also affects NDS and infoarea text. Effect can also be mixed (e.g. 6pt for infoarea, 20pt for seq)
