  1. The callback was (accidentally?) changed in r11512 in NT_extern.cxx line 1323
  2. The file generated for gnuplot contains no data. (invalid)

  • point "2" was invalid, caused by "gnuplot-nox" package.

ARB needs gnuplot-x11 otherwise no image will show up. We could add a "set terminal x11" to the generated gnuplot file, but the error generated if the x11 terminal is not available is not very helpful: 

gnuplot> set terminal x11
Terminal type set to 'unknown'
                      ^
         unknown or ambiguous terminal type; type just 'set terminal' for a list
