- Settings for 'selected species' are disfunctional
- nothing gets ever displayed
- Settings for 'current species' are ignored after editor restart
- changing any property in protein viewer (PV) window brings back wanted behavior
- values of codon_start and transl_table are cached too long
- changing one of them is only recognized by the editor when the sequence data is changed
