Description
Dear arb developers,
I am using arb v7.0.1 on Mac v14.2. I am trying to add new short sequence aligned by ACT tool from arb-silva.de online into the master SILVA Release 138.1 SSU . The sequence was first imported into arb with gap (fasta with gap) and imported correctly with gaps as confirmed by the sequence viewer in arb. The sequence is from Bacteria (also confirmed with arb-silva classifier online). However, when I use the Tree | Add Species to Existing Tree | ARB parsimony (quick add marked) function, the sequence gets added to Archaea. Not sure why this is the case? Is ARB parsimony option no longer working?
Thank you for your help in advance!
