import from calc-sheet fails with "no alignment selected"

Description

Using a CSV containing only acc's separated by newline, the above error occurs.

This seems to be a problem with GDE, the perl script below works fine.

Bug was introduced by [12138] (org. [12070]) while fixing #522.

Happened with all GDE entries which do not export sequences, i.e.

  • Import sequences using Readseq (slow) ...
  • Import fields from calc-sheet
  • Start a slave ARB on a foreign host ...
