Description
First thank you for a new version of ARB. I installed it today but encountered a problem. Just after installation I get the message: [: 408: ==: unexpected operator If a try to do an alignment, the pop up window with alignment doesn' t show up. Doing primer or probe match is functioning, so I think it background performed the alignment, but is isn't visible. I tried the button, or Sequence—>Edit Sequences—>Using marked species and . I am using as OS Ubuntu 7.10 32 bit on a 64 bit PC. Had this problem with al newer versions/latest builds. Arb 05.05.26 works perfectly, though I got error message "[: 421: ==: unexpected operator" after installation

I get the same error, sequences that formerly aligned to the PT_SERVER before upgrading no longer align. The error "No relative found for …" is shown in the message box, and on the command line simply "error error error…."
I'm running Ubuntu 7.04 with 32bit linux-2.6.20-16.
